Jon Nicholls


Finance, Funding, Strategy

Jon Nicholls is a Director of the business support company “Venturity”. He was awarded an MBA in 2005 and is a Qualified Chartered Management Accountant. He has held senior finance positions in organisations as diverse as public sector, manufacturing, construction, retail and property, both in the UK and overseas. Jon started his own consultancy practise in 2006 after retraining as a Business Coach, NLP practitioner and lecturer in Leadership and Management, and currently holds several Non – Executive Directorships.


Passionate about performance and change management, his interventions invariably encompass the full life cycle of business transformation from vision to implementation. He is an excellent communicator and strategist, and has a good grasp of what company’s need in order to grow their business. Specialisms include marketing, people management, strategy and finance.

Paul Skuse


Branding, Creative, Promotion

Paul Skuse deals with the creation and design of marketing, branding and sales materials and resources, both traditional and online, throughout the lifespan of each project. As the Founder of Azur Design and Marketing and with over 15 prior years working in design and advertising agencies, Paul is now responsible for the creation and growth of brands within both business and consumer sectors. Paul ensures every creative strategy works in parallel with its business, strategically positioned and targeted towards its core market audience.


The delivery of each strategy adds value to its business, maximising potential returns and increasing business development. Recent campaign work has included England Rugby, The British and Irish Lions and high net worth companies expanding their growth. Earlier projects have included a range of companies including Oracle, Hitachi and CISCO as well as working closely with start ups to fast track growth.

Neil Wilkins


Strategy, Marketing, Digital

Neil Wilkins MCIM FCMC BSc (hons) is the Founder and Managing Director of Viper Marketing a marketing and communications company based in Bristol, UK with offices in Egypt and Dubai. Neil is Founder and a Director of Venturity. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and Fellow of Cambridge Marketing College. With a degree in Psychology, Neil has thirty years marketing experience in a range of industries including telecoms, manufacturing, consumer products and financial services.


Neil launched his first website in 1994 and has been actively involved at the forefront of digital strategy, marketing and communications ever since. A published author, Neil regularly speaks at conferences and events on the importance of strategy, planning, the customer journey and digital marketing. He is a Business Growth Coach and Founder of the innovative app-based My Business Mentor.

The Venturity team have worked with – Orange, Cisco, Star Internet, NatWest, Bristol City Council, Ordnance Survey, England Rugby, BP Castrol, Hitachi Data Systems, The British and Irish Lions, GEC Marconi, Business West, Oxford Innovation and a host of smaller companies and start-ups with high growth potential.

Jon, Paul and Neil are supported by a team of delivery experts, each with a wealth of technical and customer-focused experience, and they will ignite your proposition.

The Process

Working with Venturity is unlike any other professional relationship you will have experienced.

For a start we don’t charge you for our services. We support you with strategy, branding, marketing and planning and can access funding, grants and investors. We are paid through those means. This will ensure you can use your money to invest into getting your products and services to market. We take care of the rest, including ourselves.

For supporting you in true partnership we seek a minority equity share in your business. In that way we are incentivised to make everything work because your success becomes our success too.

The first step is an informal interview. Think Dragon’s Den, but with nice people! We are interviewing you and you are interviewing us.

It’s all about chemistry and because we will be working so closely, everybody needs to be excited and confident it’s the right fit. The next step is due diligence and will do our research as we would encourage you to as well. We’ll need to have sight of your business plan at this stage or we can work with you to flesh out the detail if it is basic.

As soon as we all feel ready, then we agree the equity share, sign contracts and the growth planning can begin.
